The Nintendo E3 press conference revealed that Psyonix will launch a version for the Switch featuring cross-network play with PC & Xbox and exclusive content.
The Psyonix team have officially announced that their popular physics-based multiplayer-focused rocket car game will be heading to the Switch later this year.
Rocket League will support all of Nintendo Switch’s play modes, including TV Mode, Tabletop Mode, and Handheld Mode. Players will have all the same content and features as it does on other platforms but will also feature some unique content as the Switch will get exclusive battle-cars and customization items.
You will get to show them off too as the Nintendo Switch version will feature cross-network play allowing Switch players to face off against PC and Xbox owners. Rocket League will support online and local multiplayer up to eight players. Psyonix says that more details will be on the way in the coming months and you will be able to play Rocket League on the Switch this holiday season.
