Deathstorm Part 3 Takes Sniper Elite Back to Germany

Deathstorm Part 3: Obliteration will be available July 18th along with new maps and Authentic Plus mode.

The conclusion of Sniper Elite 4‘s DLC story mission Deathstorm is called Obliteration and will be available early next week. Rebellion revealed the new DLC during a live stream on Twitch this afternoon along with other new content on the way.

Obliteration will take the franchise back to Germany for the first time since Sniper Elite 2. Set in the small German town Steigerloch, Karl Fairburne is getting close to the source of project Deathstorm and has the singular mission to destroy it. The level will be the most challenging yet and feature unique new weapons as well as allow players to use the Prototype Neunfaust, introduced in Deathstorm Part two.

Along with the new DLC Sniper Elite will also receive a free update that will give players six new Axis characters to use in multiplayer, an increased level cap from 50 to 250, two new maps (the ‘Facility’ Survival map, ‘Bunker’ competitive multiplayer map), and the option to choose the reticule of your rifle’s scope.

Rebellion is also adding a new Authentic Plus mode. If you have mastered Sniper Elite unforgiving Authentic mode then test your skills with Authentic Plus, which will offer players even less support as they sneak behind enemy lines. If you can overcome “Herculean challenge” of Authentic Plus there are two new achievements you can earn.
